2. What we sell
We sell pre-owned vintage / second-hand clothing, individually and in bundles, primarily to resellers. Because every item is pre-owned:
- Natural signs of age and wear are to be expected and are not defects.
- Grade A means excellent used condition with minimal visible wear. Grade B means visible but honest wear — light marks, fading or bobbling. Rework items are damaged stock sold for repair or upcycling and are always described as such.
- Photographs of bundles are representative unless stated otherwise; the individual items you receive will match the description, grade, quantity and category stated on the product page.
Brand names are used only to describe genuine pre-owned garments. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand mentioned on this site.
3. Orders and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered; no VAT is charged and prices are as shown.
- Payment is taken securely at checkout via the payment providers offered. Your order is accepted when we send a confirmation email.
- We may cancel and refund an order where there is an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or the stock is no longer available; if so we will tell you and refund you in full.
- Estimated resale values, where shown, are indicative only and based on typical vintage resale pricing. Your resale results depend on your platforms, audience and effort — we do not guarantee any level of resale income or profit.
4. Delivery
Delivery is covered by our , which forms part of these terms. International customers are responsible for import duties, taxes and customs fees.
5. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are covered by our , which forms part of these terms, including our 48-hour not-as-described promise and the 14-day cancellation right for consumers.
6. Business customers
Where you buy for business purposes (including buying stock for resale), consumer-specific rights (such as the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation) do not apply, and our liability to you is limited as set out in section 7.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that: we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses; and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
8. Website content
We work to keep product listings, stock levels and prices accurate, but errors can occur. Content on this site (including images and text) belongs to Solent Vintage Limited and may not be reproduced without permission — except that brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
9. General
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (consumers resident elsewhere in the UK keep the protections of their local law).
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
